I'm going home, and I wish you would join me there,
But I've always known that this day would come.
There was a fire in my eye's, but that flame, it's stopped glowing now, cause my arms, they're empty, and my feet sink beneath the ground.
You could have freed us, but now you're on your own. There is a design to the poetry we've spoke, and the day is beautiful, I know you'll always know the feeling of these loving arms as the children we were, not so long ago.
I'd do anything for you, to keep you safe from harm, but you've always made every bone in my body ache.
And maybe it's too late, but there is a design.
A reason we've been placed, by each others side.
You could have freed us, but now you're on your own. There is a design to this world, this life, this time, and the day is beautiful, I know you'll always know the feeling of these loving arms as the children we were, not so long ago.
