Told a friend I found a way to live past my own dying day.
There's a man who cried out loud, some answers in life aren't supposed to be found.
Then he left this world in spite of the bliss he had, on a paper he writes
Everybody thinks they know all that you've been through,
and you could try and help me, but I guarantee it'll be know use, so I'll show them...
The way to a secret place I've walked through so many times. No, not some simple memory lane, things here could change without a sign, so let's go
Down division street, to take me to the things I need,
but I don't know where this goes, no I don't recognize this road.
Took the sky and I painted it red, so you could keep my thoughts captive in my head.
I'll still stand in the rain with a stare waiting for a train out of town that's never there.
So could you help me find my way home, or would you rather push me back until I'm all alone.
And all I see is trouble here, you selfish people won't get your way. Hope you all enjoy this one time high, cause I won't ever come down for anyone.
I'll stay in this secret place I've walked through so many times. No, not some simple memory lane, things here could change without a sign, so let's go
Down division street, to take me to the things I need,
but I don't know where this goes, no I don't recognize this road.
Told a friend I found a way to relieve him of all of his pain,
but the truth is that's a lie, so much down this one way street is just a lie.
